Heterocyclic compounds are one of the most commonly found structures in organic chemistry, and chemistry in general. Many natural products and current drugs consist of at least one heterocyclic system.

The scope of our studies encompasses the synthesis, transformation and applications of heterocycles. Current studies are focused on aromatic and partially unsaturated heterocyclic compounds.
